Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Account Manager for Strategic Accounts to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key strategic clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of these clients, ensuring satisfaction and driving growth. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of football analytics by developing key partnerships and ensuring that Modern Football's innovative solutions are fully leveraged to create lasting value for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic accounts, understanding their goals and business needs.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and nurturing leads to closing deals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, engineering, and customer support) to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of solutions to clients.

  • Identify new opportunities for expansion within existing accounts and proactively present solutions that drive business growth.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on account status, including pipeline, key wins, and growth opportunities.

  • Continuously track and analyze client satisfaction, gathering feedback to refine offerings and improve service delivery.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to position Modern Football effectively.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Manager in a B2B environment, with a focus on strategic accounts.

  • Strong understanding of the sales process and client relationship management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with key stakeholders.

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts.

  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Former football player or coach.

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Previous experience working with large, high-value clients or strategic accounts.

  • Network within the football industry.

  • Ability to work in a startup or high-growth company environment.
